Company Profile
KAMINTHERM Kft started its activity in the town Kiskunhalas in Southern Hungary on 17 January 1992. Our main profile is the manufacture of flue pipes and different accessories for fireplaces.
Our products include e.g. bent pipes, segmented pipes, corner pipes (each can also be supplied in set with accessories), straight pipes with lengths of 250 mm, 500 mm and 1000 mm, elbows 90°, 45°, 33°, 30°, 22°, 15° and 11° (also in assembly design), heat drums, wall collars and pipe rosettes. Each pipe can be supplied with the following diameters: 120 mm, 130 mm, 150 mm, 160 mm, 180 mm, 200 mm, 225 mm, 250 mm or 300 mm. Custom-built pipes are made according to order. Our product list includes a large range of floor-plates for fireplace as well.
We also undertake to manufacture other metalwork products.

The company’s history
Before the change of the political system in Hungary, Kamintherm Kft had worked in Kiskunhalas as one of the plants of KUNÉP Building Construction Corporation. Later the divisions of the special professional fields worked as semi-independent units, but in the framework of the same state corporation.Of these semi-independent units, the later Kamintherm Kft was the only one that managed to remain profitable in that difficult and hard, ever-changing economical environment. We offered marketable products and sold them successfully. One of our product groups that were manufactured in large amount was pipe flanges. In addition, we also manufactured and repaired means of transport and produced building equipment parts. We supplied fireplaces and accessories to Germany, while our list of products also included doors, windows and other metalwork products. We also worked for export from the beginning.
KAMINTHERM Kft was established on 17 January 1992, after the cessation of KUNÉP. Since then we have conducted an independent business, recently as a limited liability company. In order to improve the work conditions, we bought a larger place, where our workers can perform the individual work processes in separate workshops.
After the change of the political system, solvent demand reduced considerably in Hungary. The only opportunity of staying alive was to make products for export markets.
Because of the market fashion and the strong competition, we changed over to the production and supply of flue pipes and floor plates that can generally be used. These products were new even in the markets of Western Europe. We started the manufacturing of new products and the establishing of the market at the same time
Since then domestic demand has steadily been growing and our turnover has stepped up considerably. We have established business contacts with several of the largest fireplace selling companies in Europe. Our products can already be found in almost every large DIY superstores and fireplace specialist shops all over Europe.
